Since 1978, the company has provided a daily school transport service that allows more than 120 students to attend classes, thus reaffirming its commitment to the local educational community. This service is also extended to Primary School No. 22, benefiting other families in the area.
The commemorative event took place at the school and was attended by provincial education authorities, representatives from Nucleoeléctrica, and community members. During the ceremony, a commemorative plaque was unveiled, and speeches were made highlighting the importance of this initiative.
"These are 47 years that Nucleoeléctrica has been transporting students from the Lima Station to the rural primary school No. 31, and it is more than just a contribution; it is walking together, it is traveling every day of the school year with this educational community," said Analía Zambon, the school's principal. "For this school, it's not just about transportation: it's the daily responsibility with various contributions that make this school function much better."
In addition to the transport service, Nucleoeléctrica has been collaborating for years with infrastructure improvements and other actions that strengthen access to quality education.
With nearly five decades of joint work with the schools of Lima, the company reaffirms its commitment to local development and to strengthening education as a pillar of growth.
