Nucleoeléctrica Argentina approves new organizational structure to support its business units

The Board of Nucleoeléctrica Argentina approved a change to the company's organizational structure at its meeting of 12 August 2026, under Minutes No. 1018, in order to support the development of its new business units, primarily focused on the export of specialized nuclear services.

The measure provides organizational support for the company's decision to formally incorporate the commercialization of services to nuclear facilities abroad into its corporate purpose. In recent years, the company has taken part in projects and services for facilities in countries including Canada, Brazil, China, South Korea and Spain, and has developed proprietary technological solutions for CANDU technology plants.

The new structure reorganizes the company's leadership around an Executive Directorate, replacing the current General Management, with the Operations, Corporate Management, and Projects and Services Directorates reporting to it.

"Over more than five decades, Nucleoeléctrica has built technical, operational and human capabilities that today hold value in the international market. This new structure organizes the company to offer that knowledge professionally and consistently, with areas specifically dedicated to commercial management and business development. This is not an administrative change: it is the organizational tool we need to turn Argentina's experience in nuclear power plants into a genuine source of foreign currency and a platform for the sector's international projection," said Juan Martín Campos, President of Nucleoeléctrica Argentina.

Alongside this change, the company will continue to prioritize its traditional objectives regarding plant operation. The management of Atucha I, Atucha II and Embalse, their operating procedures and nuclear safety frameworks will remain exactly the same, while the reorganization will focus on corporate areas and on the structure that will carry forward the service export business.
