Planned Shutdown of Atucha II

The Atucha II Nuclear Power Plant will begin a scheduled shutdown to carry out essential maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety and operability of the plant.

We inform you that on the night of Wednesday, June 25, the Atucha II Nuclear Power Plant will go out of service, thus beginning a planned shutdown that will last approximately 10 days.

The shutdown is carried out in order to perform intervention tasks on the reactor lid, which cannot be carried out while the plant is in operation.

All activities will be conducted strictly following the corresponding protocols, ensuring at all times the safety of the plant, the public, and the environment.

Once the plant’s operation is resumed, we will communicate it through this channel.
