What services does Argentina's nuclear industry export?
More than five decades operating nuclear power plants have turned Nucleoeléctrica into a supplier for the international nuclear market. Its offering brings together expertise that few operators worldwide can provide.

The experience built up operating Argentina's three nuclear power plants has evolved into a business line aimed at overseas markets. This activity, which complements power generation, draws on expertise that is scarce in the global market.
Component manufacturing is one of those lines. Nucleoeléctrica has developed parts for CANDU reactors that are now used in plants of that type, with in-house engineering and the participation of domestic suppliers.
Reactor retubing is another of its most sought-after services. It ranks among the sector's most demanding operations, and the company mastered it through the life extension of the Embalse nuclear power plant, the first ever carried out on an Argentine plant.
Professional training completes the offering. Teams from other countries train with Nucleoeléctrica specialists in highly complex technical work, in an exchange that strengthens the sector as a whole.
To these lines is added the company's involvement in life extension projects at plants abroad, the same type of work already delivered in Argentina and currently under way at Atucha I.
Each of these contracts generates revenue, mobilises technical teams and gives international visibility to the work of Argentina's nuclear industry.
